Hello, Movie Mavens! Welcome back to the B Movies Blog. Today, we’re popping some of my favorite Glee love song covers into the ol’ VCR.

So, I have a confession.

You see, after our holiday Glee piece, I kind of…

…rewatched Glee from start to finish.

And, folks, it ain’t pretty.

There’s a lot of stuff that didn’t age well, and, to be honest, I’m not sure how they even got away with some of it when it was on the air.

I do think there is some good in there, but boy howdy, is there a lot of bad.

I digress.

Due to this unplanned rewatch, you can, unfortunately, expect a couple more Glee pieces to pop out throughout this year, including this one.

I thought it would be fun to pick out some of my favorite love song covers from the series, but first I want to make a few things clear.

First and foremost, I don’t condone the actions of some of the original artists or cast members mentioned here.

Secondly, I’m also not saying that these covers are better than the originals.

Finally, y’all know that I have very strong opinions about Ryan Murphy, and, as I’ve mentioned before, just because we talk about Glee or Popular from time to time doesn’t mean that we’re going to cover Ryan Murphy’s more recent content.
