Hello, Movie Mavens! Welcome back to the B Movies Blog. Today, we’re popping some of my favorite girl power anthems into the ol’ VCR.
With International Women’s Month only a few days away, and everything currently happening in the world, I’ve decided that this month is Girl Power Month for B Movies.
Now, I do want to be clear about something up top:
Whenever I say “women,” that includes trans women. Full stop.
Additionally, we also want to celebrate our femme-presenting peeps.
Moving on.
I know that it’s really hard to not feel hopeless right now. Truly.
So, I wanted to curate a list of some of my favorite Girl Power anthems to remind you that you’re a badass.
Listen, I don’t have all the answers, and I’ll openly admit that.
But, whenever I listen to these songs, I feel like I could punch through a brick wall, and I hope they give you that same feeling.
