Hello, Movie Mavens! Welcome back to the B Movies Blog. Today, we’re popping some of my favorite action movies into the ol’ VCR. 

Friends, we’re officially in the throes of summer… 

The crickets are chirping. 

Movie theaters are ice cold. 

I have to keep a stick of deodorant in my purse. 

Ah, yes. Summertime. 

And with the summer come the summer blockbusters. 

Y’all know what I’m talking about. 

And, nothing screams summer more to me than a good ol’ fashioned action movie. 

I want to see people punching and kicking while I sit comfortably with my soda and popcorn. 

So, I thought, in the spirit of summer, that I would present all of you with some of my favorite action movies of all time. 

I need y’all to know that KP gave me this exact haircut in high school, and I still tried to convince myself I wasn’t queer 

Now, I already know that some of these might be more Sci-Fi forward, BUT I’m counting them, dang it. 

Additionally, I’m going a bit older here.

I do want to give a shoutout to Monkey Man, though, because it’s one of my favorite movies of the year thus far.
