Love Is In The Pair: Some Of My Favorite Pop Culture Couples

Hello, Movie Mavens! Welcome back to the B Movies Blog. Today, we’re popping some of my favorite pop culture couples into the ol’ VCR.

Friends, we’re only a few days out from Valentine’s Day, so love (of every kind) is in the air.

That’s why I’d love to kick off a three-part series leading up to the big day that focuses on my favorite pop culture relationships that represent three different types of love: romantic love, platonic love, and self-love.

And today, we’re going to kick things off with some of my favorite pop culture couples.

These range from cartoon characters to puppets and everyone in between (which tracks for me).

Before we dive in, I want to give a quick disclaimer.

I’m only talking about these couples as they appear in their respective properties.

I don’t condone any of the awful actions of Chevy Chase, etc…

We’re ONLY looking at him as Clark Griswold, not the POS he is in real life.

Alrighty, that should do us for introductions and disclaimers.

Without further ado, here are 10 of my favorite pop culture couples:

David and Patrick from Schitt’s Creek

Gomez and Morticia from The Addams Family

Elvira and Bob from Elvira, Mistress of the Dark

Leslie and Ben from Parks and Rec

Bob and Linda from Bob’s Burgers

Kermit and Miss Piggy from The Muppets universe

Clark and Ellen from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation

Donkey and Dragon from the Shrek universe

Cecil and Carlos from Welcome to Night Vale

Kat and Patrick from 10 Things I Hate About You
