Making This Blumhome A Blumhouse

Hello, Movie Mavens! Welcome back to the B Movies Blog. Today, we’re popping Blumhouse movies into the ol’ VCR.

It shouldn’t be a secret that I love Blumhouse. Don’t get me wrong. They’ve given us some flops, and they should absolutely stop letting David Gordon Green do reboots.

However, they’ve also given us some really, really good content, ranging from true crime miniseries to modern classics like M3GAN.

I do get excited when I see Blumhouse is involved because I’m (usually) guaranteed for a good time at worst and a wonderful movie at best. I’m looking forward to all of the movies they’ve announced for this year so far, and I think we (hopefully) have some winners.

With the release of Night Swim right around the corner, I wanted to go ahead and throw out some of my favorite Blumhouse releases. There are so many good movies to choose from, so I had to make some tough choices. Sure, I’ve seen all the Insidious and Paranormal Activity movies, but I only highlighted my favorite. Yes, I love a lot of the Into the Dark movies, but I think that series deserves a separate piece.

So, I decided to roll my sleeves up, visit the Blumhouse Wiki, and whittled my list down into what you see below.

Without further ado, here are some of my favorite Blumhouse movies:
